My two kiddos

Yesterday we had a garage sale. We were selling a lot of the kids old clothes. I ended up calling it short. This woman came up to me holding up a brand new Gap jacket of Vans. She asked me how much I said $1.50 the woman then asked "will you take a dollar?" Yah whatever!!! I was done then and we closed it up. GEEZA!!

Aunt Courtney came to visit. She brought the kids new outfits. They looked soooo cute!!

I love this shot. My kids still love each other soo much!

Van Learns to Ride her Bike

Hoorray! She has been so fearful of doing this on her own. Today she decided she was ready to go! She took up around the street. Dad was so proud of her!

Pat a Cake

We sang Pat a Cake the entire time. Well not exactly we....Van sang it the entire time we made cake. The kids are right at home on the counter making a cake and were ready for the left overs. Savannah is such a good big sister. She has such a good heart. The photos touch me...it is their true relationship. I love my sweet kids.

January Princess

Happy 7th Birthday Miss Savannah. Savannah chose to take her friend to Libby Lu for the day instead of a birthday party; she had so much fun the sweetest smiles from her I have seen in a long long while.

Sometimes I feel so bad for my princess. Divorce is a horrible thing for a child to go through. Still she is a strong girl and manages to really see thru the games and keep a smile. Her Dad called today for his phone visitation. He got upset with her on the phone because she did not want to talk to him. I wish he knew how sad it makes her to be yelled at. She is 100% motivated by positive. She will never want to talk to him on the phone if he is mad at her during each call. Her GAL called to let me know that he is working on her Fathers TR hearing. Why is this so difficult? Why are the laws sooo geared towards protecting parental rights versus rights of children. Silly part is if he had done just a smidge of what he has done with drugs or alchol abuse thrown in we would have this already done! Since there isnt.........the battle continues.
